I have something exciting to share with you! Recently, I had the incredible honor of being chosen as a Luminary for this year’s Fashion Week MN. At 84 years young, I’ve always believed that age should never define what we can do—and walking the runway this time felt more powerful than ever.
I was thrilled to wear a stunning outfit from the amazing designer Alma Mia. The moment I stepped onto that runway, I felt empowered, strong, and, most importantly, alive! It wasn’t just about the fashion (though Alma Mia’s designs were absolutely breathtaking)—it was about standing tall and showing the world that aging is not something to be hidden, but celebrated.
Being chosen as a luminary was such an incredible experience. I couldn’t help but think of all the ways we, as women, continue to break barriers and defy expectations. We’re proving that no matter what our age, we can still be bold, confident, and dare to live dangerously.
