Re-Connecting
Hi Everyone-
These past few weeks, I went quiet. I ran old videos of Brock and me exercising . I did not make a new video- I did not show up online- I didn’t send out newsletters. And the truth is....I ran out of steam...I hit a wall I didn’t see coming.
At almost 86 (one month) I know myself well enough to recognize when something inside me needs rest, but it still surprises me. I felt tired in a way that wasn’t physical. It was emotional, spiritual- a kind of heaviness that said, “stop just stop for a moment”.
So I listened
I stepped back
I sat with myself
And in that quiet, I remembered something so important:
We are not failing when we need rest. We are living, breathing, aging, human beings with hearts that sometimes carry more than anyone sees.
Aging But Dangerous has always been about courage. But courage isn’t about bold action and daring choices. Sometimes it’s about letting yourself fall apart for a moment so you can rise again stronger. And I do feel stronger.
Thank you for letting me pause.
Thank you for still being here
Thank you for walking this journey with me
I am not perfect or unstoppable but I am real.

Aging With Power Podcast Ep: 10
November 19, 2025
Today on Aging With Power, we’re turning the dial all the way up with a guest who redefines what it means to grow older boldly. Jean Ketcham is 84, fierce, and absolutely fabulous. She’s the founder of Aging But Dangerous—a movement, a mindset, and a martini-fueled mission to help women ditch the stereotypes and dive headfirst into adventure. (Sometimes literally. Jean used to celebrate her birthdays by skydiving.) To listen to the full podcast click here.
