A Few Things I’ve Learned at 85:

• Most people don’t actually notice your wrinkles—they notice your presence.

• The number on the scale is never as important as the weight of your joy.

• Don’t ever lie about your age. Own it. You’ve earned every minute.

• And never, ever let someone put you in a box.

So if you’re 30, 50, or 70 and scared of getting older?

Take it from me: it gets better. You become more you. And that’s the best part.
